"penny"

"Pe-"
Sheldon's ear caught a faint sob coming from inside of the apartment.
Even though Sheldon knew it would be rude of him to enter withought her consent, he did anyway.
"Penny?"
Another sob, this time from the bedroom.
A feeling of shock and depression inked over him when he saw her hunched over on her bed, her face in her hands, blonde hair a cob-webbed mess around her shoulders. Her body shaked violently as she continued to sob.
She didn't seem to notice he was there until he sat down on the bed next to her.
When she looked up mascara tears rolled down her face onto her legs.

"Sheldon..."

Her face cringed painfully, and more tears poured out.
Sheldon really didn't know what to do, or what to say. He moved closer to her. Before he knew what was happening she had her arms around his neck, mascara tears staining his shoulder. And he embraced her back.

"Sh-sheldon...why do men have to be so mean? I mean, even before we go out, I already know what their like and how they act, and what their going to do. B-but I'm so alone, I just throw myself out there anyway, a-and it just ends up worse every time..."

"You say that you know what every guy is like?"

"Yeah.." She lifted her head from his collar bone to look at him.
He looked at the black lines stained on her cheeks.

"But what about me? Have you ever seen me do anything of false accusation?"

Her iris' shook at his words.

"What do y-"

He lurched forward, making Penny choke on her words.

More tears gushed out of her closed eyes as he slowly pressed his soft lips against hers. Sobs escaped her between passionate kisses, but they soon subsided.
When they pulled away, Sheldon looked at her lips. The moonlight showed their tenderness. "Penny..."He brushed his thumb along her bottom lip, feeling it's smoothness," I love you."}
